Shipping/Freight

Most products ship from our warehouse facilities located in Roscommon, Michigan while others ship direct from the manufacturer. Most orders ship within 1 to 2 business days (custom orders, and certain other specified products excluded). UPS and FEDEX shipments do not count the day of shipment as a day in transit. For instance, an order that is to be shipped 2 Day Air will actually take 2 days in transit PLUS the day of shipment. Please note that refused deliveries may be charged a re-delivery charge. You will always be notified if there are any backordered items or of any delays in shipping your order.

Drop Ship Orders - All drop ship orders will generally ship within 1-2 business days. In addition to the $5.00 drop ship fee, shipping costs will be added to all drop ship orders. If you would like a quote on freight orders, please request prior to placing your order.

Common Carrier Shipments
Products that are too heavy/large to ship via the small package delivery services (e.g. UPS, FedEx) must be sent to you via truck freight (common carrier). Truck freight is different than standard UPS, FedEx or US Mail in that the product will arrive by a common freight carrier (semi-truck from companies like Roadway, Yellow Freight, etc.).  Delivery is also subject to reasonable access to the area. Delivery locations such as on a mountain, island, or other hard to reach areas with a large truck may be charged additional fees.

The common carrier shipping your order will call you in advance to arrange a delivery time.  The estimated delivery time frame is 7-10 business days from time of order.  If you are not contacted within this time frame to arrange delivery please contact our service department at 1-877-966-3393.  You can arrange for any additional services that you would like such as lift-gate service. 

You must be home at time of delivery.
Before signing for your common carrier delivery, it is important that you thoroughly inspect the package to insure nothing was damaged in transit.  Inspect the boxes for external damage and if damage is present, remove the packaging and inspect the contents for any physical damage in the presence of the delivery driver.  If there is physical damage, indicate this on the delivery receipt and refuse the shipment.  If you discover internal (non-visible) damages after the delivery has been signed for please contact the freight carrier directly.  If you sign for the item and it is damaged you have three days to contact the carrier and you must save all the packaging.

The most important thing to remember about truck freight is that you MUST inspect the package at the time of delivery.

The truck freight company will deliver the product to the threshold if this is a residential delivery (this means they will expect the item to be unloaded in your driveway or on the road), or to the loading dock if this is a commercial delivery. They will not offer any assembly services nor will they put it in the room of your choice.  On particularly heavy items you should make arrangements for help to unload the shipment as truck drivers are not required to help unload.

International Orders
Duty, taxes, and brokerage fees may be assessed on your shipment by customs and the carrier which is generally collected by the carrier (UPS or FEDEX) at the time of delivery in the form of a COD. Please contact your local customs office for an estimate of these fees.

Guarantees
All items are guaranteed by the manufacturer. Depending on the item, the warranty period varies. All items are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects when received. Tracking Your Order
When you place an order through our Web site you will receive an e-mail confirmation that your order is in process. When the item ships you will receive an additional e-mail with a tracking number when shipped via UPS or FedEx, or a shipping date when shipped by other carriers.

Secure Ordering
When you order through our Web Site you can be sure your credit card is secure. On all secure pages you will see at the bottom of your browser insuring you that the site is secure. This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. WoodEze website conducts all order transactions via a secure server. Using your credit card on our secure server is guaranteed. In the highly unlikely event that your credit card is used fraudulently online with WoodEze, and you must pay any amount because of the fraudulent use, you will be reimbursed fully.

Special orders and custom made items are non-cancelable and non-refundable.

Return Policy
Any request to return merchandise will be allowed or disallowed at the discretion of WoodEze. Please call or e-mail us using the form below and request a Return Goods Authorization Number. WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION, RETURN MERCHANDISE MAY BE REFUSED WHEN DELIVERED TO OUR WAREHOUSE. All merchandise returned must be shipped freight pre-paid and is subject to a minimum restocking charge of 20%.  Please properly package and insure the item so a claim can be filed with the carrier if damage occurs during return shipping. Claims can not be made on items not properly and securely packaged.  All returns must be made within 10 days of receiving authorization. All return goods must be in the original packaging and in new re-saleable condition.

No special orders or custom-made products may be returned. Any Free Freight. item returned will have the outbound freight cost deducted from the return total.

Before returning any product please call 1-877-WOODEZE or e-mail us using the form below for a return authorization number. Items returned without a return authorization number will be refused or subject to a restocking charge.

Your Privacy Assured
WoodEze will never share any personal information you give us online. We do not make your information available to any outside companies and we don't send mailings or frequent e-mail advertisements. We do send out a monthly newsletter via e-mail with specials and other helpful information if you have selected to receive this information during the check-out process. Our online Checkout form makes it very easy for you to opt-out of this with a click of your mouse. It's entirely your choice.
